72nd National Film Awards: Dhanush says first National Award as director is unforgettable; Said, ‘I’m really humbled’

Actor and filmmaker Dhanush shared an emotional reaction after bagging two honors at the 72nd National Film Awards. His direction ‘Ryan’ won the best regional film award. At the same time, he received a Special Mention (Best Actor) honor for his performance in ‘Captain Miller’.Soon after the winners were announced, Dhanush approached X to express his gratitude.He wrote, “I am truly humbled and overwhelmed to receive the National Award for Best Regional Film for ‘Rayan’ and the National Award (Special Mention – Best Actor) for ‘Captain Miller’.
