The Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examination (IPASE) results 2026 were released on Thursday, bringing relief to thousands of students across the state who appeared for the exam to improve their scores or clear failing subjects.More than 183,000 students have improved their results by improving their exams. Nearly 100,000 students who had previously failed the intermediate examination were able to continue their studies through the make-up examination route.In the first year of intermediate examinations, 229,034 students showed improvement. Out of these, 1,35,435 students (i.e. 59%) improved their performance. Among those who appeared to have passed the failed subjects, 42,379 out of 1,09,003 candidates passed and improved their scores, giving a pass rate of 39%.Results for the second year also showed that a large number of students benefited from supplementary examinations. Of the 91,303 students seeking improvement, 48,149 students, or 53%, improved their scores.Of the candidates who tried to clear failing subjects in the second year, 57,327 out of 1,02,018 candidates passed and improved their marks. This means the pass rate is 56%.
