The actor spoke to the media after attending a special screening of ‘Gatta Kusti 2’ organized by the Rotary Club of Chennai for specially-abled children. When asked about the negative comments and online campaign against the film, Vishnu chose to focus on the larger issue rather than the huge controversy. “It’s tough. I don’t want to go into detail about it. People are enjoying the film. I’ve already talked about the social media hate, and I’ll say it again. I don’t like all the hate on the internet. We all have to stand united against this. I have already taken that stand, and I will continue to do so,” he said, as reported by Naqkhiran.

The actor also explained that personal attacks on individuals only create a toxic online environment. “Targeting someone personally is not good for society. We all want to build a better society, but what we see on social media is the complete opposite. I will continue to stand against such behaviour,” added Vishnu Vishal. During the interaction, Vishnu requested the masses not to politicize the film’s release or his association with Red Giant Movies. “Please don’t make it a political issue. I see Red Giant Movies only as a professional production and distribution company. I have shared a wonderful relationship with them for the last 13 years. That’s why I wanted this film to be released through them,” he said. Ending on a positive note, the actor added, “I want everyone to look at it positively. Families are coming to theaters and celebrating the film because it carries a positive message.”
