Talking to Hindustan Times about the intense preparation, Prabhas said, “I would miss a horse-riding session and then blame it on the weather. He insisted that I take it seriously and even asked me to keep a horse at home.” The actor admitted that he couldn’t believe what he was hearing and replied, “Keep the horse at home? Are you serious?” Prabhas then recalled, “I had these ducks in my guest house. He told me that horses were the real deal and asked me to ride horses every day. I said, ‘Now I have to ride a horse for your film!'” His comments show how Rajamouli wanted to get completely comfortable riding a horse before the cameras started rolling.
