Raveena Tandon And Akshay Kumar All set to reunite on the big screen after a gap of 22 years with Welcome to the Jungle The actors, who have shared screen space in several popular films over the years, were last seen together in 2004’s Police Force: An Inside Story.For Raveena, returning to the sets with Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and director Ahmed Khan Felt less like work and more like a reunion of old friends.
‘There was such a comfort level’
Speaking to NDTV, Raveena once again opened up about the experience of working with her long-time colleagues.“It was great to work with Sunil and Akshay and Ahmed again. We are all such old friends and have known each other for so long. And Farida played my mother in Jiddi and many other films.” So, it was the friendship we all knew each other for the longest time,” he said.The actress added that the ease and familiarity between the cast members made the experience particularly enjoyable.“There was such a comfort level that we literally sat on chairs and bantered with Paresh. I think it was very enjoyable,” she shares.
Raveena welcomes Akshay’s dedication
Raveena speaks highly of Akshay Kumar’s work ethic and his evolution as an actor over the years.“As for Akshay, I can say that he was and always will be a very dedicated artiste. The amount of input he puts into a film – the only change is that it has doubled now,” he said.Reflecting on their early days in the industry, Raveena points out that both the actors were still learning the ropes when they first started out.“Earlier, when we came into the industry, we were young and still learning. But now, he has mastered his craft. He has become a master of his craft,” he added.
