The actor took to his handle to post a picture of himself smiling as he posed with his doctor and wasn’t shy about admitting his hair restoration process.Cena posted a photo from the Anderson Center for Hair in Atlanta undergoing a second Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) procedure. Sharing the update, Cena wrote, “Round 2 of FUE treatments and this time I went all out for the best possible results. Thank you @KenAndersonMD and the staff at Anderson Center for Hair for being with me on this journey!”According to People, the procedure is a minimally invasive hair transplant technique in which hair follicles are taken from a section of the scalp and transplanted into thinning or balding areas.Fans were quick to respond to his latest update on social media, with many praising the actor for being transparent about going through hair restoration and helping reduce the stigma surrounding the procedure. One wrote, “John Cena is an inspiration to all of us who have had or want to have a hair transplant. The actor previously revealed that his decision to go this route came after jokes and trolling from WWE fans.After undergoing her first round of hair transplant with Dr. Ken Anderson in November 2024, the star spoke to PEOPLE and revealed how WWE fans inspired her to take her hair health more seriously. “They held me accountable. They don’t let you call and run away, because they’ll eat you alive,” he said. “That’s what a good support system does.”Cena added, “I saw their sign that said ‘Bald John Cena’. They pushed me to go look at my options.”After his first transplant, Cena said the procedure “completely changed the course of my life” and gave him more confidence to pursue acting opportunities.The actor spoke candidly about the stigma surrounding cosmetic procedures. “I hate the fact that if there wasn’t so much shame around it, I would have done it 10 years ago,” he said.Cena is currently working on Matchbox: The Movie, where he plays Shawn.
