Although Zverev ended Arthur Fery’s dream streak, he had plenty of praise for the 23-year-old Briton, who reached the semifinals as a wildcard.“I think this was just the beginning of his career and I really think he’s going to do amazing things in this sport,” Zverev said.He also applauded the Wimbledon crowd despite almost everyone rooting for the home favourite.“I know 99.99% of the stadium wanted Arthur to win. But it was still such an amazing atmosphere. It was such a fair crowd,” Zverev said.“Many audiences in the world can take an example from this audience. It is one of the best audiences to play tennis in front of.”The final will see Sinner and Zverev battle it out for the Wimbledon title in what promises to be a huge hit.
