Clearing the air, Cook experimented with reshaping the look for the first season of the fantasy show by adding bits and pieces of extensions to her natural hair. “In the first season, it was like pieces because my hair was quite blunt and square, so they wanted it to be like a taper. Annoying,” she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. In previous years, the actress had to wear half-wigs in some scenes, while other looks required full wigs. Acknowledging the moment where she did the ‘girl thing’, the British actress said, “I did the girl thing where I cut my hair off because I felt it was too emotionally heavy and instantly regretted it, so they had to make me a wig,” laughing.
