Vijayalakshmi Darshan, wife of jailed Kannada superstar Darshan Thugudeepa, has issued a detailed statement dismissing viral social media rumours, claiming that their son Vinesh has been hospitalized following a major car accident in Bengaluru. Clarifying the incident involving their Ford Endeavor in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Vijayalakshmi confirmed that Vinesh was completely safe, was not behind the wheel, and went out to check a two-wheeler after a minor traffic collision. With the family already under intense public scrutiny, the Bengaluru police have also taken steps to ensure that no official case or complaint is registered in connection with the minor road accident.
Rumors of small street incidents spread
The speculation started after a minor collision involving a Ford Endeavor belonging to Vinesh in Bengaluru. The vehicle was reportedly involved in a minor road incident with a two-wheeler. Confusion over Vinesh’s role in the accident grew as videos and claims related to the incident spread online.
Vijayalakshmi shared the details of Darshan
As reported by TOI City, Darshan’s wife Vijayalakshmi Darshan released a detailed statement. He clarified in the statement that Vinesh was neither injured nor driving at the time of the accident.He said, “We want to clarify that the news circulated by some media outlets claiming that Vinish met with an accident and was hospitalized is completely false. Vinish is absolutely safe and doing well. He was not driving; as is usually the case, our driver was behind the wheel. A minor road incident occurred, which unfortunately, is not uncommon in Bangalore traffic. The other party involved admitted it was their fault and even apologized. Vinesh only got out of the car to ensure that the people on the bike were safe. Unfortunately some of those moments are taken out of context and presented in a completely misleading way.”Darshana’s wife added, “As a family we are already going through a difficult time, and spreading such unsubstantiated and sensational news adds to our pain and anxiety. We sincerely request everyone, especially media organizations, to verify facts before publishing or broadcasting information that may cause unnecessary suffering to individuals and their families. We request everyone not to believe or share these false reports.“
The police have confirmed that no case has been filed
