This time, the purple faded into darkness, and Ryan Gosling’s hand saw a beam of light. In 2024, the Academy Award-winning actor revealed that the poster continues to haunt him even after the film’s inspirational success. “We’re dancing, Emma and I, and I didn’t know it was going to be the movie poster. We were supposed to put our hands up, and I thought it would be cool to put my hands up. [more flat] Even though everyone told me it wasn’t cool. I was sure it was cold,” he said during an interview with the Wall Street Journal.
