Played by the makers of ‘Demon Colony 3’ Arulnithi And Priya Bhavani Shankar starrer has unveiled the release date of the much awaited horror film. The horror thriller is all set to hit the screens worldwide on September 11, 2026. The announcement ended months of speculation surrounding the film’s release. Earlier, reports suggested that the movie might come in summer or June, but the makers have now confirmed its theatrical release date with a spooky new update that has already created excitement among fans of the franchise.
‘Demote Colony 3′ release date is locked
The production house shared the release update on social media with a chilling message. The team wrote that the doors to ‘Demon Colony 3’ are set to open soon and warned the audience to prepare for darkness, thrills and nightmares. The announcement immediately went viral on the internet, and fans couldn’t contain their excitement to return to the terrifying world created by director Ajay Gyanmuthu. The franchise has built a loyal fan base over the years, and the third installment is expected to take the horror experience to a higher level than ever before.
The shoot wrapped after an extensive international schedule
Meanwhile, the shooting of the film has been completed in April this year. Producer Sudhan Sundaram revealed that the project was mounted on a large scale and shot in various locations including Portugal, Malta, Leh-Ladakh and Chennai. Although there were several difficulties in shooting in different countries and in different locations, the director managed to complete the entire shoot in just 80 days. This effort on the part of the director won appreciation from the producer, as well as the hard work of Arulnithi and all the cast and crew.
A larger scale, global vision for the horror franchise
Director Ajay Gyanmuthu had earlier said that ‘Demonte Colony 3’ was made in such a way that it would cater to all audiences irrespective of their region. According to him, the team is working hard to make this movie a grand blockbuster. Apart from Arulneethi and Priya Bhavani Shankar, the film has an equally impressive supporting cast. The film’s music is composed by Sam CS, while the visuals are by Sivakumar Vijayan. Post-production is going well and with the release date finalised, there are high hopes for this horror Tamil film.
