TMZ recently reported that the 39-year-old and Kennedy have been together for nearly 10 years. However, the couple recently separated and officially filed for divorce. From the statement of the report, it is learned that the actress filed for divorce earlier this month on July 8.The report also shared that Elliott is opting to have joint legal and physical custody of their children, five-year-old Edith and 3-year-old William. Another request for spousal support and attorney fee coverage was also noted in court.At the time of writing, neither Elliott nor Kennedy had made a public statement about their separation.
