The Spider-Man star checked into Mumbai’s iconic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, where he is said to be staying at the property’s most luxurious accommodation, the Tata Suites.The elegant suite is among the hotel’s best offerings and comes with an equally attractive price tag Reports suggest that Tata Suites typically cost between Rs 7 lakh and Rs 12 lakh per night, depending on availability and season.The suite is designed more like a luxury apartment than a hotel room. It has two bedrooms, a spacious living area, a formal dining room, a meeting room that can accommodate up to 15 people, a private office, a lounge, a spa with a sauna, a private gym and a butler’s pantry. Guests can also connect it to an additional bedroom if required.Known for its period architecture, traditional furniture, artwork and cultural artifacts, the Tata Suite is one of the most exclusive accommodations in the historic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.

Tom Holland arrives in Mumbai along with Christopher Nolan and Matt Damon

Tom landed in Mumbai on Friday ahead of the Indian premiere of Christopher Nolan’s much-awaited film The Odyssey. In videos shared on social media, the actor was seen leaving Mumbai’s Kalina Airport before heading to the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. This marks his second visit to India after his visit in 2023.He is joined by Academy Award-winning director Christopher Nolan, producer Emma Thomas and co-star Matt Damon.Mumbai has become an official stop on The Odyssey’s global promotional tour alongside cities like London, Paris and New York. This is also the first time a Christopher Nolan film has had a dedicated premiere event in India.

Tom’s ‘Namaste’ wins hearts

At a special screening of The Odyssey, Tom received a rapturous welcome from fans. When he stepped on stage, the audience gave him loud cheers, applause and a standing ovation.The actor responded with a warm smile and a respectful ‘Namaste’, drawing another round of applause from the crowd.Addressing the audience, Tom thanked the Indian fans for their love and encouragement.“From the bottom of my heart, thank you for always welcoming us with such open arms, happiness, excitement, grace and love. But one brings energy to the cinema theater as you do here in India,” he said.Earlier in the day, Tom also waved to fans gathered outside the hotel, acknowledging the excitement surrounding his visit.Written, directed and co-produced by Christopher Nolan, The Odyssey is based on the ancient Greek epic poem by Homer. The film follows Odysseus’ decades-long journey after the fall of Troy.Matt Damon plays Odysseus, while Tom Holland plays his son Telemachus. Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson and Lupita Nyong’o also star.Odyssey is slated to release in theaters on July 17.
