‘Clara and the Sun’ star Amy Adams has been through a lot in life. This includes a life and death situation that requires his quick thinking and even saves someone’s life. In a recent podcast episode, the actress recalled what it was like to help the man and how terrifying the experience was for her.
Amy Adams recalls saving a stranger’s life
The actress, while talking about her life and career on the ‘Smartless’ podcast, revealed that she once saved someone’s life. He revealed that he is very attentive when there is an emergency around him. When Will Arnett asked him to elaborate on the matter, he revealed that there was a time when he saved someone’s life.“I’ve seen a few scenes where we were like the first people on the scene”, she commented, also sharing that there was a time in Santa Monica when she was with her father and her husband and daughter, when she heard people yelling “‘She’s dying'” while her husband screamed that he could see blood. Adams revealed that she jumped straight into action, told her husband to stay with their daughter and ran to help the man.He added, “He was stabbed in the neck, so he was bleeding, and his friends were panicking. Luckily, we were going to the beach; we grabbed towels — my dad was in a lot of scenes.” [and] I guess he attracts them too – and exerts pressure. I’m sitting there, kind of going, ‘Your pulse rate needs to calm down. Take a deep breath.’ I was literally just so focused. I was like, ‘The more you struggle, the faster you bleed. Just lie down. Let’s improve it.’Then she even shared that the man survived and she confronted him almost a year after the incident. She recalled that the man had her son with her, and broke down in tears as she talked to him and thanked him for saving her.In the episode, Sean Hayes, who hosts the show, also recalled how after filming an episode of ‘Will & Grace’, he was in a similar situation to save someone who had been shot.
