Brother of acclaimed Bollywood actor Vijendra Nath Tiwari Pankaj Tripathi‘Sharp weapon’ attack in Bihar seriously injured and admitted to hospitalAccording to IANS, Vijendra has been admitted to a hospital in Patna for treatment. Posting a video of his arrival at the hospital, the organization wrote in a tweet, “Bijendra Nath Tiwari, sustained serious injuries in a sharp weapon attack linked to an old dispute. He has been shifted to Patna for better treatment, while the police formed a special team and launched operations to arrest the accused.”According to Navbharat Times, the attack took place in Belsand village under Madhopur police station. Reports alleged that the assailants targeted Tiwari because of a ‘longstanding feud’.The report further alleged that the assailants, who were lying in wait in the village, ‘suddenly attacked him with sharp weapons’. He was seriously injured in the attack, family members rushed him to Model Sadar Hospital for emergency treatment. Doctors described his condition as ‘extremely critical’ while providing first aid.The medical team therefore referred him to Patna for better treatment. Currently, he is undergoing treatment under the supervision of specialist doctors.Meanwhile, a special police team has been formed to identify and arrest those responsible for the attack.On the work front, Pankaj Tripathi will soon be seen in the much-anticipated ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’.
