Actor-politician Khushboo Sundar’s family has a new reason to celebrate. His elder daughter, Avantika Sundar, married Shravan Srinivasan in an intimate wedding ceremony held in Goa on Thursday evening. The private affair was attended by family members and a close circle of friends from the Indian film industry.Making the happy announcement on social media, Khushboo shared the first pictures of the wedding with an emotional note, saying the family was “speechless” as they watched their daughter begin a new chapter.The wedding pictures capture some of the most touching moments of the event. One picture shows Avantika and Shravan holding hands in traditional silk dresses, while another monochrome picture shows the groom kissing his bride after the ceremony. Khushboo also posted a family portrait with her husband and the filmmaker Beautiful CLittle girl Anindita, the newlyweds and their pets. While Avantika chose a pastel pink dress for the occasion, Shravan and the rest of the family wore matching gold dresses.
Khushbu writes an emotional message
Sharing the news, Khushboo wrote that the event was filled with gratitude and overwhelming emotion.“We are truly speechless at this moment, as words seem inadequate to express the emotions we are feeling,” he wrote.The actor added that family has always been central to their lives and they have long believed that “marriage is made in heaven.”Announcing the marriage, he wrote, “With great joy and gratitude, we, Sundar C and Kushboo Sundar, are delighted to share the wonderful news that our beloved daughter, Ms. Avantika Sundar, has got married to Sri Shravan Srinivasan on 25th June 2026.”Reflecting on the event, she said, “Surrounded by the love of family and close friends, we witnessed a moment that will be etched in our hearts forever. The warmth, affection and goodwill that enveloped us made the event truly magical. Our eyes are still moist, and our hearts overflow with joy and gratitude.”Khushboo revealed that the wedding was deliberately kept intimate as per the wishes of the couple.“It was a small and intimate celebration, just as the couple envisioned, and we were honored to fulfill their wishes. A star studded guest list
Although the wedding was a private affair, it witnessed the presence of several prominent personalities from the entertainment industry. Khushboo’s close friend Trisha Krishnan attended the event along with guests from the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industries.Among those present were Telugu superstars Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and Nagarjuna, who were present with their wives. Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor were also spotted at the celebration. Khushboo also invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and actor-politician Vijay to the wedding. However, three dignitaries could not attend the event.
