RBI announces 4,500 apprenticeship positions: check how to apply from June 12

The Central Bank of India has issued a notification for hiring apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, for the financial year 2026-27. The bank will fill a total of 4,500 training seats across India. The online registration process will begin on June 12, 2026, and will last until June 22, 2026. The online exam is expected to be held in the first week of July 2026.The bank said the selection will be conducted through an online test conducted by BFSI SSC, followed by local language test in each state. Candidates must also pass document verification and physical fitness requirements before final participation.In order to qualify, candidates must possess a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized university. Age limit is 20 to 28 years as of May 31, 2026. As per government regulations, the age relaxation will be applicable to SC, ST, OBC, PwBD and other reserved categories. The apprenticeship period is 12 months. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000. The bank has clarified that apprentices will not be entitled to any perks or permanent employment after completing their training. Seat distribution among states has also been announced. The selection process will include a 100-point online objective test covering general financial awareness, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, computer literacy, English and banking products and services. There will be no negative marks on the exam.Candidates applying to a particular state must be proficient in the local language of that state. Students in classes 10 and 12 who have learned the local language are exempted from taking the language test.

  • Log in and search for “Central Bank of India Apprenticeship Scheme 2026-27” opportunities
  • Note the registration ID generated by the NATS portal for future use.
  • You will receive communication from BFSI SSC via your registered email to complete the next step.
  • Register on BFSI SSC Portal: beep.bfsissc.com
  • Fill in all required details
  • Follow the instructions to upload the required files.
  • Pay application fee online
  • Submit the final application form carefully and download/print a copy for reference.
