Vijay’s much awaited film ‘John Noigan’ is an action drama which has created a buzz due to its political themes. Recently the film’s director H Binoth talked about the political message of the film. He noted that although it covers politics, it does not target or criticize any individual or political party.

While talking to India Today, H Binoth shared that the story of the film is about democracy, unity and working for the people. “It has direct politics but it doesn’t target or criticize anyone. It’s politics that speaks of unity and works for the people,” he said.He explains the title, saying, “It’s not a common word. It is a film about democracy, so we chose that title. The very first poster mentions the ‘torch bearer of democracy’.Talking about Vijay’s hand-slash gesture seen in the trailer, he said, “It is necessary for the script and it is there. You watch the movie and if you think it is not relevant, I will answer.”
‘John Noygan’ waits for long censorship
Vijay’s ‘John Noigan’ marks his last film before focusing on his political career. He is also serving as Chief Minister now Tamil Nadu. Initially slated to release in January, the film has become quite the buzz. However, it faced a long delay in getting its CBFC certificate.The film was stuck with censorship formalities for months and this time, the makers faced another challenge when it was leaked online.
