Yash learns Hindi while shooting ‘Ramayan’; Praise for Ranbir Kapoor’s performance

rocking star Yash Nitesh Tiwari will be seen in the role of Ravana in the mythological epic.The Ramayana‘ Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. Recently, during the film’s grand trailer launch in Delhi, the Kannada superstar spoke about his experience working in the film and revealed how it gave him the opportunity to learn Hindi.

Yash called ‘Ramayana’ a special journey

According to a report by IANS, during the event, he tried to speak in Hindi while addressing the audience. He said, “Namaskar. I am really happy to be a part of this wonderful project. Sab Hindi mein baat kar rahe hai yahaan. May ve koshish karunga. Is mukam tak lane ke liye all credit should go to Namit Malhotra. Unhne mujhe ye patra nivane, unko liktawad unke versam”. Hun hindi chaine ka bhi mauka mila. (Everybody speaks Hindi here, so I thought I’d give it a try. All credit to Namit Malhotra for bringing me to this stage. He gave me the chance to play this role, and for that I’m really thankful to him. I also got the chance to learn Hindi.)

The ‘KGF’ star thanked producer Namit Malhotra for giving him the opportunity to be a part of the film. She also thanked director Nitesh Tiwari for helping her realize her character.He said, “This is India’s dream. We are all united with one vision and one conviction to bring our story to the global platform. So, we all put aside all our vested interests. We have only one interest – to tell the story of Lord Sri Ram to a global audience and to celebrate him in our country. So, Namit, thank you, thank you for this courage and for believing so strongly. Help me understand the nuances of the character.“

Yash praised his co-stars

Yash also spoke about his co-stars, hailing Ranbir Kapoor as ‘phenomenal’ and saying, “The whole of India will understand how you surrendered to this role and what magic you created.”He also praised Sai Pallavi’s performance as Sita. Yash said it was a great experience watching her on screen and added that “her eyes say it all.”Actor Rakul praised Preet Singh and Shobana for portraying their characters.The trailer launch of Ramayana was attended by many famous names of the film industry.
