Ram Charan And Janhvi Kapoor ‘Peddi’, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, was a blockbuster after it released in theaters on June 4. As the film ends its run on the big screen, its streaming platform has announced that it will soon be released in the digital space.

‘Peddy’ will begin streaming on streaming giant Netflix. The platform took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the film’s poster and wrote, “Ata Marochchu Kani, Monagadu Mathram Maradu,” which in English means, “The game may change, but the hero/real person remains the same.”The team announced that it will start streaming from July 9 and will be available to watch in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. They also teased that the film will soon release in Hindi on the same platform.

Talking about the film, it tells the story of a cricketer who plays for any team that is ready to pay him. His life changes when he meets Appalasuri, a villager who has tried for years to get a railway stop and government recognition for their village. Using his elite sporting skills, under the guidance of his Pehlwani mentor Gournaidu, he grew from a player who only wanted money to a dedicated sportsman ready to sacrifice himself for others.

Apart from the lead pair, the film also stars Shiv Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyandu, Boman Irani, Ravi Kishan, Viji Chandrasekhar, Rajtav Dutta, Satya, John Vijay, Ajay Ghosh and several others in important roles.The film ran in theaters for over a month and saw a worldwide collection of Rs 338.98 crore, according to trade analyst Saknilk. In India it saw a net collection of Rs 242.03Cr across 120,447 shows.On the work front, Ram Charan will next work with Sukumar in the upcoming film titled ‘RC17’. Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of her next project ‘Lag Ja Gale’.
