West Indies vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test Live Score: Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to play the first match against West Indies in the second and final Test on Friday.

The visitors made three changes to their playing XI, while the West Indies welcomed back Shai Hope, who returned after missing the opening game of the series through injury.

Shai Hope returns; Roach misses

Hope will replace Joshua de Silva and will also take over the wicketkeeping duties.

However, West Indies were dealt a blow as veteran fast bowler Kemar Roach was ruled out with a hamstring problem. Roach reached the milestone of 300 Test wickets during the first Test.

Fast bowler Anderson Phillip comes into the side for him.

West Indies head into the match full of confidence after posting a huge innings and a 217-run victory in the opening Test, their first win in eight matches in the World Test Championship.

Captain Roston Chase said he was happy to bowl first and hoped his team could repeat the performance from the first Test. He also felt that the pitch, which has an undertone of grass, could offer help to the fast bowlers at the start of the match.

Sri Lanka make three changes

Sri Lanka also changed their playing XI.

Lahiru Udara replaces opener Pathum Nissanka, while experienced left-arm spinner Prabath Jayasuriya comes in for injured pacer Lahiru Kumara.

The visitors also brought on Kasun Rajith in place of Isith Wijesundar.
