Akshay Kumar Sold two luxury apartments in Mumbai’s Mulund West for Rs 12.38 crore. According to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix, the actor bought the property in October 2017 for around Rs 9 crore, making a significant profit on the investment over the years.The apartments are located at Oberoi Enigma, a high-end residential development by Oberoi Realty on LBS Road. Each unit measures 1,886 square feet in carpet area and comes with three dedicated parking spaces, taking the total of both transactions to six parking slots.Property records show that both the apartments were acquired by Sunny Home Care Pvt. Each residence was sold for Rs 6.19 crore, resulting in a total transaction value of Rs 12.38 crore.The buyer has paid stamp duty of Rs 37.14 lakh for each apartment, making a total of Rs 74.28 lakh. The sale deed was officially registered on June 30, 2026.

Investments provide healthy returns

Registration documents reveal that Akshay Kumar bought both the apartments in October 2017 for around Rs 4.49 crore. Based on the latest sale price, each property has appreciated by around Rs 1.70 crore, an approximate 38% increase in value in about nine years.

This is not the first real estate transaction involving the actor in 2026. On June 2, Akshay Kumar sold two apartments in Oberoi Sky City, Borivali East for a combined Rs 7.1 crore.The larger apartment spread over 1,101 square feet was sold for Rs 5.75 crore and included two parking spaces. The second unit, measuring 252 sq ft, with a dedicated parking space changed hands for Rs 1.35 crore. The transaction incurred stamp duty of Rs 28.75 lakh and Rs 6.75 lakh respectively.Both the properties were bought by Suvarna Rupeshkumar Sakpal through a transaction registered on June 2, 2026.

Akshay Kumar continues to monetize Mumbai real estate

The actor is steadily monetizing his Mumbai property portfolio. Borivali Apartments were originally acquired from Incline Realty Pvt Ltd in November 2017 for Rs 3 crore and Rs 67.55 lakh respectively.In another transaction last year, Akshay sold two adjoining apartments in the same Borivali building for Rs 7.10 crore. After buying them for Rs 3.69 crore in 2017, the properties are said to have generated an impressive 92% return in eight years. 5.75 crore was realized from just one apartment, the transaction involved Rs 34.50 lakh stamp duty payment and Rs 30,000 registration charges.
