About John Farnham

In a report in The Herald Sun from May this year, Farnham confirmed that after recovering from mouth cancer, he was no longer able to sing. The artist revealed that he will no longer act and is now focusing on his health. “We can rule it out, because due to my face and mouth surgery in the last few years, singing on stage is not something I can consider again.” The singer took a break from music in 2022 after his cancer diagnosis and has stayed out of the public eye ever since.Apart from that, a tribute concert for the Australian singer is also being planned next month. Artists such as Celine Dion, Hugh Jackman, Richard Marx, Jimmy Burns and Keith Urban will perform at the event and honor the singer. The concert is titled ‘The Song of John Farnham: A Living Legend.’ Funds from the concert will be donated to Head and Neck Cancer Australia, the same organization that supported Farnham in his cancer battle.
