The shooting has already started
According to reports, Shanaya has already completed a short shoot for the film. Deccan Chronicle quoted, “He was wise to choose a zombie comedy, and opposite an actor who is still rising in the ranks, rather than doing a film opposite a big star and getting lost in the frame. Things are tough for these young actors, who are already overexposed with their numerous media postings. Telugu cinema may test new waters for him.“
Shanaya Kapoor’s earlier relationship with ‘Vrishav’
This is not the first time Shanaya has been associated with a South Indian film. Earlier he was announced as part of it MohanlalIts multilingual project ‘Vrishabha’, directed by Nanda Kishore and backed by Ekta Kapoor’s production house.The film was planned for a pan-India release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada languages. Shanaya even participated in the early stages of filming and announced the completion of her first schedule on social media.Sharing an update from the set at the time, she wrote, “And it’s a wrap as we wrap up the first shooting schedule of #Vrishava” According to reports, Shanaya eventually pulled out of Vrishava due to date-related issues before the end of production.The reported ‘Zombie Reddy’ sequel is now set to be his first Telugu release if the project goes ahead as planned. Shanaya Kapoor was recently seen in the survival thriller ‘Tu Ya Mai’ which received good reviews from the audience.
