The official countdown to the release of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has begun with a new teaser dropping online. This one in particular has a Hollywood star Tom Holland Joining forces with football legend Lionel Messi. A few weeks after the actor and footballer were spotted filming together, a new promo clip for the Marvel superhero movie has dropped online.

The special video released by the makers shows Messi in search of Spider-Man. His search leads him to a coffee shop in New York, where he bumps into Peter Parker. Hearing that Messi is looking for Spidey, he then transforms into his Spider-Man self, and appears to mesmerize the football legend. The two were then seen swinging around NYC.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ marks the 4th MCU Spider-Man film and follows the emotional aftermath of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. After Doctor Strange’s spell erases Peter Parker’s memory of the world, he begins a new chapter as the lone, full-time Spider-Man protecting New York City. The film explores Peter facing new threats and changes in his own abilities while living without the support system of MJ and Ned.With Marvel leaning towards more grounded, street-level Spider-Man stories, the film aimed to finally show Peter as the independent hero fans wanted to see.
