SS Rajamouli is currently on a cinema tour across Europe, screening some of his biggest films for international audiences. As part of the special event, ‘RRR’, ‘Iga’ and ‘Bahubali‘ The story is being shown.

The iconic scene of ‘Iga’ received a huge response from the French audience

SS Rajamouli’s team recently shared a video of ‘Eega’ screening in Paris. The clip shows the audience clapping loudly after one of the film’s most memorable moments. Theater fans cheered and applauded as the iconic “I’ll be back” scene played out on the big screen. The scene remains one of the film’s most beloved moments, and French audiences celebrated it with loud applause.

About ‘Iga’

Released in 2012, ‘Eega’ is a story where a man who is killed due to jealousy is reincarnated as a house fly to seek revenge. The famous scene comes during the film’s climax when the little fly bravely challenges the villain, played by Sudeep. Throughout the movie, the flies mess with and fight the villains. In the final moments, the fly writes “I’ll be back” before the explosive climax. The film stars Nani, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Kiccha Sudeep in lead roles.

SS Rajamouli received special honor in Paris

During his visit to Paris, SS Rajamouli also received a major honor from Cinemathèque Française, one of the world’s most prestigious film institutions.Sharing his joy at X, Rajamouli wrote, “It’s an honor for me to be here in Paris and to screen my film. But a sweet surprise that I never saw coming. It’s a feeling I can’t quite put into words. To have a permanent place in the halls of one of the world’s legendary film institutions named after the great Henri Langlois, I will always carry with me.”Rajamouli also thanked everyone who made the honor possible. He wrote, “My deepest gratitude to the legendary Mr. Costa Gavras and the entire Cinemathèque Française family for this honor, and for embracing Indian cinema with such warmth and love.”SS Rajamouli is working with the Telugu superstar on his upcoming title ‘Varanasi’ Mahesh BabuGlobal icon Priyanka Chopra and Malayalam’s Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is slated to release on April 7, 2027.
