How Jace met his end
Jess, played by Harry Collette, was killed during the season 3 premiere after she and her dragon, Vermax, were taken down by enemy arrows. While dragging the dragon deep into the sea, Jace briefly resurrected before being hit by an arrow.Following its premiere on HBO, viewers flooded social media with praise for D’Arcy’s performance, particularly the opening sequence showing Rhaenyra mourning Jace’s death. “It’s so heartbreaking to see Rahenia go through grief in just 3 minutes.
