‘Ramayan’ is still months away from release, but producer Namit Malhotra is already building anticipation for the film’s arrival this Diwali.Malhotra, who is supporting director Nitesh Tiwari, is acting Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi And Yash The lead, in his latest interview, expressed his confidence that the film will become a breakthrough moment for Indian cinema. The producer has opted for a more intimate promotional strategy over the past few months by hosting screenings for various categories of fans, influencers and online content creators.In one such interview with the content creator, Namit spoke about the ambitious mythological epic. When asked about the technological innovations showcased in the film and whether there are aspects of the visual effects that the audience might overlook, Malhotra said, “I think there are 2-3 things that I don’t want to say today. I just want the audience to see first. If they don’t notice it, we will be very successful. Therefore, I don’t want to warn anyone by saying this now.”He was also asked about the comparison Christopher NolanIts upcoming mythological epic ‘The Odyssey’. The film, which is a revival of the Greek epic, is generating significant global buzz ahead of its July 17 release. Asked if ‘Ramayana’, with its deeply rooted Indian story, could create similar excitement, Namit said, “I think it is in our hands as Indians, with faith, which path and position we take before the world.”Talking about his team’s work at the technical level, he said, “We are doing our best. We are working hard so that we can do our best. With everyone’s passion or enthusiasm, it will become a proud moment for every Indian across the world.”‘Ramayana’ is one of the most ambitious and costliest Indian films ever made. The movie will be released as a two-part cinematic adaptation, featuring Ranveer as Lord Ram, Saita, Yash as Ravana and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. The first installment is slated for a Diwali 2027 release, while ‘Ramayan: Part 2’ is slated for a Diwali 2028 release.
