Samantha Ruth Prabhu His latest film ‘Maa Itni Bangaram’ is on the verge of success. A low-budget female-led action drama, the film roared at the box office. The actress recently spoke about the lack of time and effort of female stars compared to male superstars.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu on making women superstars

In a conversation with Variety India, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was asked why successful actresses still have to fight for working hours and big salaries. Taking one step at a time, Samantha Ruth Prabhu says, “I have always said: male superstars are not made in a day. Time and effort is spent on making a larger-than-life male superstar. With every film, every director works hard to create this god-like stature. it took time I feel female stars are not given that effort and time.”He also suggested that this could be achieved if filmmakers put in the same effort while turning an actress into a superstar. He said, “If directors and producers put in that effort to make an actress a superstar, it will be possible. We just need that time and investment.”

Samantha talks about working with her husband Jannat Nidimoru

Her film ‘Ma Inti Bangaram’ was co-produced by her husband and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru. He also spoke to the same media outlet about working with her. “It’s actually incredibly easy. I know most people won’t believe it. But everything is really easy to work with Raj. We can discuss stupid things very easily.”Samantha Ruth Prabhu first worked with Raj in the spy action thriller web series, ‘The Family Man’ Season 2. Later they also worked on ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’.“In all the years we’ve known each other, we’ve never argued. It is quite beautiful. Especially since we are deeply involved in each other’s work and not just our personal lives. Our relationship is incredibly collaborative. We truly believe that we have the best interests at heart.”

Samantha teases working on multiple projects

The film is backed by Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s production banner Tralala Moving Pictures. Since ‘Maa Itni Bangaram’ has become a superhit, he shares that it gives them the confidence to venture further into the stories they want to tell.“I am working on multiple scripts and all of them have their hearts in the right place. All of them will be original and heartfelt and will encourage new talent,” he said.
