Prithviraj SukumaranThe body makeover for his next film ‘Khalifa’ became a major talking point among fans and now the actor has been felicitated with the Padma Shri. the mammothdescribes the Malayalam superstar as the most flexible actor he has ever seen. The actor said that Mammootty’s ability to completely transform into different characters inspires him as a performer.

Mammootty becomes the character perfectly

As reported by the Reporter website, talking about the veteran actor’s performance, Prithviraj explained that Mammootty possesses the rare ability to disappear into a character. According to him, the audience never sees the star first. Instead, they see the character. He said, “Mammukka is the most flexible actor I have ever seen. I am not saying this because mentioning the names of Laletan or Mammukka will elicit applause. Whenever you see Mammukka in a character, you really feel that he has become that character. When you see him as Achyut in ‘Amram’, he looks like a true fisherman. When you see him as the District Collector in The King, that too feels completely believable. He is an actor who can completely immerse himself in a character. As an actor, I have always felt that he has an exceptional ability to physically transform and adapt to different roles quickly and effortlessly. That’s something that inspired me as well.”

Prithviraj Sukumaran’And, nobody

Meanwhile, Prithviraj is gearing up for the release of ‘I, Nobody’ directed by Nizam Bashir. At an event organized by Online Malayali Events, he said, “As I said earlier, we cannot limit this movie to a single genre. When I first heard the story, I felt that the genre was changing every five minutes. It seems that several genres that we are familiar with are presented in an unconventional style.”

More than just one Action film

Prithviraj also addressed the action elements in the film. Although ‘I, Nobody’ has several large-scale sequences, he insists that action is only a part of the overall experience. The actor revealed that considerable time and effort was invested in designing the stunt parts. He said, “There’s a lot to the film. If I had to pick one aspect that I particularly enjoyed, it would be the drama. There’s also action, and we spent a fair amount of time and resources on that. It’s the first time I’ve spent so many shooting days working with stunt choreographer Yannick Bain. I believe it’s the longest he and France have worked on a Malalam film. Largely in Thiruvananthapuram. But, despite a lot of action, it’s not an action film.”Directed by Nizam Bashir, ‘I, Nobody’ will hit the theaters on July 9.
