While performing in Austin, Texas, the singer performed her hit song on stage, however, she changed the lyrics slightly as a shout out to one of her former back-up dancers, Ricky Alvarez, whom she dated from April 2015 to July 2016. His 2018 song was originally “Wrote some lyrics about Ricky / Now I’m listening and laughing.”However, for his performance on the ‘Eternal Sunshine’ tour, the singer changed the lyrics to “wrote some songs about Ricky / I know he’s still got my back.” The event was held at the Moody Center. Alvarez enjoyed the outcry after concert videos showed him appearing, dancing and swaying to the singer’s music while attending the concert in the VIP pit section area.This is not the first time that he changed the lyrics himself.
