The story revolves around Athiran, a talented runner from a slum in Chennai, who gets a chance to represent India at the Commonwealth Games. But his election was allegedly annulled due to interference in the process by powerful individuals.This setback pushes Athiran into a legal battle against a minister portrayed by Mansoor Ali Khan. The film explores corruption within the sports system.

According to Saknilk, the film collected Rs 5 lakh nett in India on its first day. Its India gross also stood at the same number. The total worldwide collection is currently Rs.5 lakh.
