SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ franchise remains a landmark film Indian cinema Shilpa recently dropped the documentary ‘Baahubali: The Torchbearer’, which gives fans a look into the making of the film. Interestingly, there is a buzz about the much-awaited third part of the film with a clip from the show Prabhas, Early Dagguvati And Anushka Shetty Hints that there could be another film in the popular franchise in the future.In the viral clip, Rana says, “The world may not be ready yet, but Baahubali will be…” as Prabhas smiles and holds up three fingers. The moment made everyone on the sofa laugh, including Anushka Shetty. The clip ends with the words, “And the legacy continues!”Watch the clip The video quickly spread across social media, with many fans confirming that ‘Baahubali 3’ is finally on the way. However, there is no official announcement from the makers till now.

Fans believe that part 3 is coming

X (earlier on Twitter) shared the clip and an internet user wrote, “The wait is over! Baahubali 3 is officially confirmed by Rana Daggubati.” Another user added, “There is no doubt that Bahubali changed the face of Indian cinema forever. It set new standards in terms of storytelling, scale, visuals and box office success. Now, with Bahubali 3, expectations are higher than ever.”

‘Baahubali: The Torchbearer’ premiered on Netflix on June 26. The four-part documentary shows how the films were made and how they became global successes. It includes behind-the-scenes footage, interviews with the cast and unseen moments from the set.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Nasser in lead roles. Released in 2015 and 2017, the two films became one of the biggest franchises in Indian cinema and made Prabhas a pan-India star.Last year, as part of the franchise’s 10-year celebrations, ‘Baahubali: The Epic’ which is a remastered version that combines both the films and released in theaters on October 31, 2025. It was later released on OTT.
