Cycling around the house’s lawn, he introduced what he finds attractive about the residence and his taste during an interview with Asian Paints’ ‘Where the Heart Lies’ series. The actor’s house has a very high ceiling, with a grand entry featuring greenery leading up to the gate. Keeping the palette brown and green, the residence features black granite and dark wood floors, gray brick as a connecting wall to the room, and glass windows for outside views. Adding a design to create an inviting space for entertaining guests, she chose warm-colored sofas and chairs around the living room. “A lot of freedom, a lot of nature, and greenery,” Abhay said of the home’s aura. The actor worked diligently to create a space free of tension and deceptive furniture. “I described it to my architects, saying, when I’m looking at the person in front of me, I don’t want to see a ceiling or any windows,” he explained. Along with a charming swimming pool, the space adds a touch of serenity through the blue color on the walls amidst the indoor greenery. For the kitchen area, Deol chose to create earthy tones with wooden shelves and complementary black tones.
